This striking Australian boulder opal pendant showcases intricate natural ironstone patterning illuminated by bright flashes of blue, green and subtle purple within an organic 25 x 20mm free-form stone.

Across the surface of the opal, rich brown and rust-toned ironstone creates a wonderfully complex, landscape-like pattern. Vibrant areas of blue and green emerge as the stone moves through the light, accompanied by subtler purple flashes that reveal its individual character from different viewing angles.

Hand cut and polished to enhance its natural outline and distinctive pattern, the stone has been set by hand into a sterling silver bezel. The clean silver surround follows the free-form shape of the opal while allowing its richly patterned ironstone and colourful flashes to remain the focus.

Earthy, vibrant and completely unique, this one-of-a-kind pendant combines the natural character of Australian boulder opal with an organic silhouette and individually handcrafted silverwork.
