This distinctive Australian boulder opal pendant showcases intricate natural ironstone patterning illuminated by vivid flashes of blue, green and gold, with subtler touches of red appearing within its organic 30 x 25mm free-form shape.

Across the surface of the stone, earthy brown and rust-toned ironstone forms a wonderfully individual pattern. Bright blue, green and golden flashes emerge as the opal moves through the light, while occasional red colour adds further depth and character from different viewing angles.

Hand cut and polished to enhance its natural outline and colour pattern, the stone has been set by hand into a sterling silver bezel. Hidden on the reverse is a beautifully crafted openwork koala motif, adding a meaningful Australian detail that complements the origin of the opal.
