This natural Australian boulder opal measures approximately 20mm x 23mm and displays a striking contrast between its rich, earthy ironstone matrix and vibrant seams of precious opal. Electric flashes of blue and violet run through the warm brown stone, with additional fiery tones appearing as the opal moves and catches the light.

One of the most distinctive features of this gemstone is its double-sided character, allowing the natural patterns and opal colour to be appreciated from both sides. Its freeform shape, intricate ironstone patterning and bright veins of colour give the stone the appearance of an Australian landscape crossed by flashes of brilliant colour.
