This luminous freeform Coober Pedy Olympic opal pendant showcases a 2.5ct solid Australian opal with vivid flashes of green, red and blue.

Originating from the Olympic Opal Field at Coober Pedy, the stone has a softly luminous body across which its bright colours appear and shift as it moves through the light. Strong green and red flashes are accompanied by touches of brilliant blue, revealing the opal’s individual character from different viewing angles.

Hand cut and polished to enhance its naturally elongated freeform shape and colour pattern, the opal has been set by hand into a sterling silver bezel. The clean silver surround follows the individual outline of the stone, while the decorative openwork bail adds an elegant finishing detail.
