This colourful Lightning Ridge opal doublet pendant showcases a soft sky blue colour within a distinctive free form 8 x 9mm stone.

Across the surface of the opal, luminous green flashes emerge against the blue, accompanied by warmer yellow tones as the stone moves through the light. The changing play-of-colour gives the opal a wonderfully lively character, with different areas illuminating depending on the viewing angle.

Hand cut and polished to bring out the individual character of the stone, the opal has been set by hand into a sterling silver bezel. The clean silver surround follows the shape of the gemstone while allowing its soft blue colour and vivid flashes to remain the focus.
