This distinctive Lightning Ridge opal doublet pendant showcases a vivid electric blue colour within an individually shaped 13 x 6mm stone.

Across the surface of the opal, intense blue dominates, with brighter electric blue and blue-green flashes appearing as the stone moves through the light. Its richly saturated colour and shifting play-of-colour give the opal remarkable depth, with different areas illuminating depending on the viewing angle.

Hand cut and polished to bring out the individual character of the stone, the opal has been set by hand into a sterling silver bezel. The sculptural silver surround follows the unusual shape of the gemstone while allowing its extraordinary blue colour to remain the focus.
